These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the After5 mobile application and the After5 website at after5.pm (together, the “Service”), operated by After5 (“After5”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use After5. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You register and sign in to After5 using your mobile phone number. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number and device secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated SMS text messages from After5 for login and account-security purposes — including one-time verification codes (OTPs) used to confirm your identity when you sign in.
These messages are required to operate the Service and are not marketing messages. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Message frequency depends on how often you sign in. We do not sell your phone number. If you no longer wish to receive login codes you can stop by deleting your account, but note that you will no longer be able to sign in. For help, contact hello@after5.pm.
After5 helps singles meet in small in-person groups (typically 4–6 people) after 5pm. There is no in-app chat — you see who is coming and show up. You agree to use the Service to arrange and attend real, in-person meetups in good faith.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe put other members at risk.
After5 facilitates introductions but does not conduct background checks on members and is not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or in person. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, and use your own judgment about your safety.
The Service and its content (excluding information you provide) are owned by After5 and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission. You retain ownership of the information you provide and grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, After5 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service or your interactions with other members.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
